Swam the 100 Breaststroke final tonight, did a huge PB swam 1.01.37 and finished 3rd. It was a really close race and it all came down to the finish, which is really reassuring for the 200 on Saturday as I was 5th at the half way stage but finished really strongly. I was beaten by two Scottish swimmers so this swim qualified me for the English commonwealth team which is great especially as it was for my ‘fun’ event, so it takes a little pressure off for the 200. I am so happy with the swim it was my first national medal for the 100, a pb and it qualified me for the team so it couldn’t have been much better!
