European LC Championships 2010

The European LC Championships in Budapest have started and I fly out to Hungary on Monday ready to compete in the 200 Breaststroke on Wednesday. Although every opportunity to represent my country is an honour and a privilege and I will go out there and give it my all, I have not tapered for this competition. This means that I will not be in peak physical condition for my race, and am therefore not expecting to swim PBs, but will still go there and apply myself 100% and put in the best performance I can. I am really excited about the Commonwealth Games just around the corner and want the Europeans to be a spring board into that competition where I am aiming to make the finals in my events and ultimately win a medal.
